Kyoto Kagaku's Digital Ear Examination Simulator II expands on their stardard manikin to allow for the addition of custom fundus images to be added via USB.
Designed for life-like training, the manikin's neck can be tilted for inspection of the ear canals on both sides of the head, with either normal or stenosis ear canal inserts.
What cases can be assessed on the Digital Eye Examination trainer?
The model is pre-installed with 9 cases:

- Serious Otitis Media (SOM)
- Mucoid Otitis Media (MOM)
- Chronic Otitis Media with Perforation
- Acute Suppurative Otisis Media (AOM)
- Cholesteatoma
- Tympanosclerosis
- Traumatic Perforations
- Cerumen Block
Each unit is supplied with a Foreign Body Removal Kit that contains; simulated ear wax a small toy, small sponger fragments and a spoon.
