The Clinical Female Pelvic Trainer (CFPT) Mk 3 is a popular inclusion in the Limbs & Things female examination trainer range. CFPT has been part of the range for over 20 years, with Mk 3 being the most recent iteration.

Female pelvic examinations are a commonly performed procedure, with skills competency is required at all levels of medical training from undergraduate to primary care.

CFPT Mk3 is the ideal platform for students to practice examination, and diagnosis of common conditions and minor pathologies on an anatomically accurate female pelvic model.

Set up for essential skills training

Equipped with the CFPT Uterine Module 1: Normal – Nulliparous Cervix, the Standard Trainer is designed for trainees to practice basic examination skills such as:

Identification of parts of the pelvic anatomy
Digital vaginal examination
Palpation of the abdomen
Digital rectal examination
Bi-manual examination
Cervical smear/Pap smear testing

Soft labia can be parted realistically

Uterine pelvic modules are interchangeable for quick and easy use in training
Can be upgraded with 6 additional modules for additional pathologies
Suitable for manual and instrumental examination practice

Cleaning

Excess lubricant should be removed with a soft cloth
Clean product surface with soft cloth, warm water and mild detergent
Ensure trainer and module/s are fully dried before storage

Safety

This product is latex free
Lubricate tools and digits before inserting them into the module/s
Only use water-based lubricant with the CFPT trainers and modules
Do not palpate the module unless the abdomen is fitted
Sharp objects can cause damage to the model’s silicone. Always wear gloves and remove jewellery when using the trainer
Recommended speculum size: Small 25 x 100mm
