This product is a replacement Lower - Normal module for the Limbs & Things Infant Hip Exam Trainer. This interchangeable section of the simulator allows for trainees to become familiar with the haptics of a normal infant hip. This module cannot be used without the Infant Hip Exam - Upper module.
This simulator represents a 1-month-old term female, and allows for the practice of Barlow and Ortolani manoeuvres as well as the Galeazzi sign. The baby helps healthcare professionals to meet the specific requirements of training to identify and diagnose developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH). Built with versatility in mind, the simulator allows for repeated training of the Barlow and Ortolani manoeuvres, as well as the Galeazzi sign.
