New Tool Makes Managing Laparoscopic Training Effortless
Our eoSim range, dedicated to efficient and cost-effective training, now has an exciting new feature.
eoSim was created by three practicing surgeons, as a flexible option for laparoscopic skills training and joined the Limbs & Things family of brands in 2023. Since then, we’ve continued to invest in developing the eoSim trainers, as a key tool for laparoscopic training.
Roland Partridge, Laparoscopic Surgeon, and one of the founders of eoSim said, “It’s been a fantastic opportunity to be part of the Limbs & Things team and see our portable and innovative training tool become an integral part of their product portfolio. It’s been exciting to see eoSim grow as more institutions become invested in our flexible learning solution and integrate it into their training.”
The range has just seen the release of new, accompanying software, SurgTrac Manager, which aims to make managing groups of trainees and their progress, effortless. The new feature allows instructors to easily add new trainees to the platform and coordinate them into different learning groups. Instructors can then use the SurgTrac app, which monitors task attempts and reports back on performance metrics, to remotely track learning groups’ training activity, giving insights into their progress.
The SurgTrac & SurgTrac Manager applications make managing laparoscopic training effortless. Used with the portable trainers that allow learners to practice anywhere, both in class and at home, the eoSim range provides a flexible learning tool for any institution.
Our new video, which showcases the eoSim package and demonstrates how the trainer works, is now available on YouTube. You can click here to watch the video or click here to read more about eoSim on our website.
