BSS Tendon Repair Trainer
A representation of a finger flexor tendon at approximately twice life-size. Developed in conjunction with the Royal College of Surgeons, London (UK). It allows for the practice of tendon repair skills in accordance with the revised RCS Intercollegiate BSS course.
Overview
- Tensioning system and hinged digit allows for testing of repair once completed
- Economical:
- each tendon can be used twice in conjunction with the skin sheath
- can be used many times without the skin sheath
- Tendon material is comprised of an inner core with reinforced circumferential material - ideal for holding the appropriate sutures
