Trucorp's AirSim® simulation model is ideal for training in airway management and awake fiberoptic intubation.
It features the uniquely constructed AirSim® airway for realistic feedback during airway management procedures. Visually and anatomically correct, the nasal cavity and airway include important internal landmarks for training in nasotracheal intubation and nasally directed fiber optic examination.
The AirSim® nasal passage provides an anatomically correct nasal cavity, including important landmarks, for a realistic training experience in nasal intubation procedures.

Cleaning
- Thoroughly wash the airway with warm soapy water to remove lubricant
- To fully sanitise, use an alcohol spray (minimum 75%) and wipe off, repeat as necessary
- Allow to fully dry before storing
Safety
- Airway component contains latex
- Lubricate equipment and airway prior to use
- Deflate tongue, lungs and stomach after use
- Do not clean this product with: germicides, disinfectants, chemical agents (such as glutaraldehyde/Cidex®), ethylene oxide, phenol-based or iodine containing cleaners
Recommended equipment sizes:
- 7.0-7.5mm ID for nasal intubation
- 8.0-9.0mm ID for oral intubation
- Sizes 3-5 for LMA laryngeal masks
- Similar respective sizes for other supraglottic devices

Does the AirSim airway trainer require assembly?
No, the training manikin can be used straight out of the box, either use it free standing on your work bench, or use the included adhesive pads for increased stability.

Does the AirSim trainer provide user feedback to indicate successful or failed procedures?
Yes, if a trainee successfully intubates the manikin, the two lung bags will inflate. An incorrect procedure, with the intubation tube in the esophagus, will result in the stomach bag inflating.

Can the Trucorp airway trainer simulate a range of difficulties?
Yes, it's possible to replicate a tongue edema on this model airway. Using an empty syringe, you can insert air via the connector on the chin to inflate the tongue to restrict access to the esophagus.
