The Clinical Female Pelvic Trainer (CFPT) has been part of the Limbs & Things product range for over 20 years. The Mk3 is the latest, most realistic trainer, and is a market leading product for female examination simulators.
It’s anatomically accurate and tactile representation of the female pelvis is the ideal platform for hands-on examination, and diagnosis of conditions and minor pathologies. It’s suitable for use in many levels of training, from family health and primary care, to undergraduate and beyond.
When using the standard setup in simulations, trainees are able to practice basic examination skills such as:
- Identification of perineal and pelvic anatomy, including bony landmarks
- Digital vaginal examination
- Bi-manual examination, palpation of the abdomen while performing a digital vaginal examination
- Cervical smear testing using a speculum
- Digital rectal examination
