The hands-on kit contains all the essentials for practicing suturing, knot tying and instrument handling: skin pad and jig, 10 sutures, dissecting forceps, needle holder, scalpel, suture scissors and a basic knot tying trainer. N.B We have now moved to a recyclable carboard packaging for this product.

Consultant author and author of original Suture TutorProfessor Kneebone is Professor of Surgical Education at Imperial College London. Prior to joining Imperial in 2003, he pioneered an innovative national training programme for minor surgery within primary care, based around intensive workshops using simulated tissue models and a computer-based learning program. Much of his current research focuses on simulation.
Since 2005 Professor Kneebone has lead the UK’s only Masters in Education (MEd) in Surgical Education. -
