We Are Launching New Simulation Products at IMSH

The Male Rectal Examination Trainer offers realistic, repeatable training in the core skill of digital rectal or PR examination.

The Standard model focuses on core rectal nursing procedures while the Advanced model allows trainees to become familiar with normal and abnormal findings and acquire key diagnostic skills.

Designed in collaboration with clinicians, the Shoulder for Injection – Palpation Guided, is a simple to set up trainer and companion app that combines physical practice with the guidance of technology.

It provides a repeatable teaching and training platform for shoulder injections, in the four most common sites.

Other featured products include:

• Abdominal Examination Trainer - An anatomically accurate adult male torso, used to teach and practice the palpation, auscultation and percussion elements of abdominal or gastrointestinal (GI) examination. Ideal for OSCE preparation and assessment.
  
  
• Chest Drain & Needle Decompression Trainer - Includes the ability to simulate needle decompression of a tension pneumothorax at both the 2nd and 5th intercostal space. The trainer is suitable for use with the ATLS 10^th
  
  
• PROMPT Flex Birthing Simulator allows for training in both routine and difficult birthing scenarios, at all levels of teaching, learning and skill maintenance. Additional modules are available for Post-Partum Hemorrhage, Cervical Dilation and Effacement and Cesarean sections.

Limbs staff will be at Booth #217 and will have stations set up for dedicated hands-on time with the trainers.

Limbs & Things will host the Spotlight Learning Lab on Monday, January 28^th, 2:00 pm-3:30 pm. The session will be led by international Obstetrician and simulation expert, Dr. Oscar Martinez Perez

Using the Body Interact® screen-based simulator and Limbs & Things task trainers, learners will be able to use a virtual reality patient, a complex case, and task trainers for a comprehensive learning experience.
