The Purchasing Administrator works closely with the Purchasing & Warehouse Manager, building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, carrying out general purchasing administration and providing general administrative support to the wider operations team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring purchase orders capture all requirements and are placed, booked-in and correctly supplied, in good time; monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs; coordinating import of overseas products; communicating with suppliers on orders and deliveries; and researching potential vendors.

£19,000 - £22,000 per annum (Depending on experience)
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience in an administration role, ideally in a manufacturing environment. Purchasing experience would be an advantage.
You will have a good attention to detail with the ability to work independently and as part of the wider team. You are a good communicator, both verbally and in writing, and you have experience of building relationships and communicating with confidence at all levels of the business.
You will have good MS Office skills, especially Word and PowerPoint. Experience of using and ERP system and/or Time & Attendance (T&A) system would be an advantage
