AirSim Combo Bronchi X (Light Skin Tone)
TruCorp’s AirSim Combo Bronchi X trainer combines the innovative cricothyroid larynx design, AirSim X Airway and the Bronchial component. This allows for a range or airway management training for all skill levels from beginner to advanced learners.
With the addition of the bronchi, trainees are able to perform diagnostic bronchoscopies, use bronchial barrier devices to perform lung isolation, and practice suction pulmonary secretions.

Realism

Cleaning
- Thoroughly clean the airway with warm, soapy water or mild detergent, until foreign matter and residue is removed
- As a further step to fully sanitise the product, use an alcohol spray (75%+) and wipe off (This can be performed on both the silicone and latex parts of the manikin)
Safety
- Components inside this trainer contain latex
- Ensure use of protective gloves when handling the latex airway
- Spray lubricant on the airway and equipment prior to use, to aid the procedure and reduce risk of damage to the material
- Do not use strong detergents or enzymatic cleaning agents on this trainer, such as, germicides, disinfectants, chemical agents, ethylene oxide, phenol-based or iodine containing cleaners

Are there specific devices that should be used with the AirSim Combo Bronchi X?
AirSim models are compatible with a full range of supraglottic devices. However, for optimal performance, the manufacturer recommends the following equipment sizes:
- 7.0-7.5mm ID for nasal intubation
- 8.0-9.0mm ID for oral intubation
- Size 3-5 for LMA laryngeal masks
- Similar respective sizes for other supraglottic devices

Is this model suitable for teaching paediatric intubation and other emergency medicine procedures?
The Combo Bronchi X is specifically modelled on scan data from an adult male. TruCorp produce Child manikins, based on a 6-year old child, that are anatomically accurate for paediatric procedures.
