Endoscopy Training System
Specifically designed to meet the new training requirements of the American Board of Surgery Flexible Endoscopy Curriculum, which applies to all applicants training from 2017-2018 academic year onwards.
The training system has been proven to improve endoscopic performance, resulting in higher pass rates as measured by:
- Fundamentals of Endoscopic Surgery
- Global Assessment of Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Skills
- Assessment of Competency in Endoscopy
Developed in collaboration with the National Capital Region Simulation Consortium and the USU / Walter Reed Department of Surgery, the system has been designed for in-situ training, with the use of trainees own endoscope.
