This Abdominal Examination Trainer is an anatomically accurate adult male torso. It can be used to teach and practice palpation of the abdomen, auscultation, and percussion elements of abdominal or gastrointestinal (GI) examination.
Limbs & Things' Abdominal Examination Trainers (Products 60000 and 60054) come with interchangeable organs in a variety of sizes. They also feature an integral MP3 player providing realistic sounds, this helps trainees recognize and differentiate a range of abnormal organs and pathologies.
The interchangeable organs give trainees the experience of a range of pathologies before encountering a real patient. Palpation of the abdomen feels life like with the stretchable skin and Rectus Bag (abdominal fluid bag).
Abdominal Examination Trainer is ideal for OSCE preparation and assessment, and helps the student gain key skills such as:
