NEW Colles' Fracture and Hand & Wrist Injection Trainers
22 April 2021

We are pleased to announce the launch of two new additions to the Limbs & Things Range: the Colles’ Fracture Reduction Trainer and the Hand & Wrist Injection Trainer.
Both state-of-the-art trainers represent cost effective and realistic solutions to training in their respected fields.
Colles’ Fracture Reduction Trainer
The Colles’ Fracture Reduction Trainer provides trainees with a platform for repeatable and consistent practice of manual Colles’ reduction and plastering techniques. The model facilitates all three stages of reduction: Exaggeration, Traction and Flexion, whilst also supporting the application of several plastering techniques.
As is typical in a real-life emergency setting, the model allows trainees to perform a visual inspection and identification before facilitating a team focused Colles’ fracture reduction.
The easy to operate adjustable tension mechanism allows trainers to alter the difficulty of the procedure for advanced learning.

Hand & Wrist Injection Trainer
Suitable for all levels of training, the Hand & Wrist Injection Trainer allows trainees and clinicians to practice and teach injections in five different locations within the hand and wrist.
The palpation-guided trainer allows for injections into the:
- Carpal Tunnel
- De Quervain’s Sheath
- Trigger Finger
- First Carpometacarpal Joint
- Distal Radio-ulnar Joint
The additional presence of a reactionary Median Nerve adds another level of realism and complexity for trainees.
Working unison for our newly developed app, the trainer harnesses innovative sensory technology that provides learners with wireless, real-time feedback from the procedure. An Interactive Anatomy element within the app allows users to rotate the detailed model anatomy 360 degrees so each injection site can be viewed and analysed from a number of angles.
