
Production Worker
Overview
PRODUCTION WORKER
You will be working in a small team in our production department, and you may be involved in the construction of products that help reduce errors during medical emergencies and promote good teamwork in maternity departments.
You could also be assembling parts for our laparoscopic trainer, FLS, a product that promotes best practice amongst trainee surgeons, or producing skin pads that help medical students practice and perfect their wound closure skills.
Other jobs may include casting or trimming the flash from the parts which are then assembled into final product.
Every bit you do in the production department will help healthcare professionals worldwide become competent and confident in their profession through practice using our products.
THE PERSON
We are looking for self-starting individuals who are enthusiastic, hardworking, who demonstrate initiative and ambition. The successful candidate will have a good eye for detail and accuracy and be able to work under pressure. You will be flexible and adaptable to work in different areas of production to meet production demands.
Experience of working in a manufacturing or production facility is an advantage, but not essential, the individual is the key since we will provide expert training.

Working hours: MONDAY TO FRIDAY; 6am to 2pm. Our working day is 7½ hours, plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch, a paid break of 15 minutes and an early finish on Fridays, and the opportunity to earn overtime at an elevated rate.
Hourly rate is £12.60 (gross) per hour. Overtime available paid at +50%
