Technical Model Maker

Develop L&T products – you may be working alone or as part of a team.

Plan and manage all work accurately and on time.

Communicate intentions and progress.

Produce fully working high quality electro-mechanical prototypes using model making techniques and/or 3D printing.

Test and evaluate designs and manage modifications.

Work comfortably within the project lead-times.

Manage multiple and varied tasks concurrently.

Work with other departments to effectively progress the project.

Provide information that allows others to work effectively.

Ability to communicate through drawings/cross-sections & mock-ups

Excellent prototypes that work well.

Improvements are evident.

Work is completed on time and to a high standard.

Uses an organized methodology.

Use email, meetings etc. to keep all relevant staff informed.

All critical information regarding the product is written down and passed on the relevant member of staff.

All stakeholders clearly understand ideas.
