• A unique trainer combining the complex anatomy of the kidney with a realistic and echolucent material
• Realistic ultrasound image of the fluid filled cavities within surrounding tissue
• Cavities can be distended using water pressure to provide more obvious targets
• Realistic drainage of fluids when the needle enters the target calyx
• Nine possible target calyces, allowing the nephrostomy to be performed at varying angles and hence levels of difficulty
• The Nephrostomy Slab can be presented on the Thirty Degree Base, which is angled to simulate correct patient orientation
• The material re-seals leaving no needle tracks
