- The unique combination of the translucent nephrolithotomy slab and lightbox simulates the x-ray imaging process used for locating the renal pelvis and calyces, and the subsequent placement of instruments

The Nephrolithotomy Slab:
- responds realistically on insertion of needles, guide wires and dilators
- includes the renal pelvis that features nine calyces enabling nine separate procedures to be performed
- is supplied with stones in the renal pelvis. These can be re-inserted via ports made from successfully dilated calyces
- can be presented on the Thirty Degree Base, angled to simulate correct patient orientation
- can be positioned flat (without the base) to represent the supine position associated with the use of a 'C arm' in theater
- Quick and easy to assemble and to change over slabs
- Supplied in a hard-wearing carry case for portability and convenience
