This multipurpose phantom can be used for both radiography and CT scanning. The internal parts are easily detachable, allowing for the insertion of simulated tumors or other lesions. The unique radiological substitute material and the elaborate three-dimensional modelling of pulmonary vessels offers life-like X-ray and CT images.

  • 1 male chest phantom:
    • chest wall with synthetic bones
    • internal parts: mediastinum (heart & trachea), pulmonary vessels (right & left), abdomen (diaphragm) block with no internal structure
  • 15 simulated tumors (3 sets of 5):
    • each set has a different Hounsfield number (-800, -630, +100) and has 5 sizes of tumor (3, 5, 8, 10, 12 mm diameter)
